LAGOON 40 – SAILING CATAMARAN FOR CHARTER
Lagoon 40 arrived as replacement for the aging Lagoon 400, which proved to be the one of the most popular catamarans for charter at the Adriatic sea. With high expectations and tough competition, designers worked really hard to make a vessel that will beat all competitors.
Lagoon 40 follows a new design language of the company, which is now typical for all Lagoons. Tinted saloon windows, a newly designed bow and wider aft deck are only a drop in the ocean of things that make this catamaran more desirable for everyone who is thinking about a catamaran rental in Croatia.
Great exterior spaces:
Thanks to the relatively wide hull, the Lagoon 40 has one of the biggest cockpit areas in its class. As a result, there is enough space for a big dinning table as well as for a sunlounge, which is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the natural beauties of the Adriatic sea. One of the greatest features of the Lagoon 40 is the almost perfect location of the helm. It offers great visibility all around the boat, especially at the back, which is very useful when the skipper is docking the boat in the marina. The good visibility in combination with the proximity of stern ropes, offers even the nonprofessional skipper, who is interested for yacht rental, to operate this catamaran without any bigger problems.
As it always should be: while designing this boat, safety was the number one priority. The designers made very wide side decks with high fences, that allow everyone to move worry-free across the boat while cruising. A lot of effort has been put into making a foredeck a great social area, including large sun mattresses and two bow benches, that are making the front of the boat very desirable for people who like to catch some rays from the warm Croatian Sun.
Lagoon 40 accommodation:
Lagoon 40 is available in different layouts. The most popular one among charter guests is the 4+2. In this case, the sailing catamaran can comfortably accommodate 10 guests and max 2 crew members. For guests that are more oriented to full comfort while sailing, 3 guest cabin layout is available. In that case, one whole hull is dedicated to the master cabin with an ensuite toilet, shower, storage space and working desk.
All versions of the Lagoon 40 are equipped with a fully functional kitchen, which consists of: a gas oven, sink, two refrigerators and standard kitchen plates, glasses, knifes etc. A large dining table, surrounded with a cushioned sofa in the boat saloon, ensures that there is enough space for everyone to sit down and enjoy lunch, even if it is raining outside.
